Street Lamp and Purple Swirl

I'm trying a photoscape today... and see what I could make with it:

I call it "A street lamp".

Purple Swirl.
Now, see the original photos before they are "photoscaped".

The original street lamp.
The original photo of Purple Swirl.

So, do you believe if I tell you the Purple Swirl is originally a photo of morning dew-burdened grasses?

Have a nice weekend, everybody.... <3

The Worst Attendance

I found these photos on my Photo Folder > GMP (Grafindo Media Pratama--red.).

Look what I found:

Yes, I have to admit that I was almost always on the list: the worst attendance.

Hmm... The one who used to come several minutes before the agreed schedule, the one who used to be afraid to break any rule was turned into a rule breaker in the office. I came late almost every day, I refused to wear company's uniforms, etc.

The fact that I'm now in a new office makes me wonder why I was like that and why I didn't feel ashamed of being rule's breaker. The company was my comfort zone. And maybe it is because I could break the rules, LOL... :D.

Apart from that, it is now memorable.

The transition is never easy for me. I'm in this zone now. Hope can cope with it soon and elegantly.

Finally, let me quote this: "All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy, for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves." (Anatole France)

Farewell: The Witnesses

I Do Not Play Purple Dice

Nita Mulia, my editor friend, had just come back from her hometown. She goes there every week--on the weekend to be exact. But there was something different on last Monday: she bought me the purple thing from her hometown. An eraser. A dice-shaped eraser. And it is purple! Yup, my favorite color: that's the point.

Take a look to this new member of purple things of mine... together with the new small purple tumbler and also my purple Blackberry.

Love the highest "six"
The two purple

If God does not play dice, I also won't "play" this purple dice. Means that I won't use this purple dice eraser to erase mistakes my pencil makes. Rather, it will be one of those purple beloved stuffs of mine. :)

Cheating

Almost forget that I should post a photo here.

Since I didn't take any photo today, allow me to post this blue ocean. I took it when I crossed Sunda Strait, on the way home.

No matter how far I go from home... There will always a way or a reason to come home. And this blue ocean is a witness of me coming home.

Somewhere Only We Know

Shame on me! I was totally failed to post one photo per day (minimum). I even tried to forget this blog. I stopped uploading a photo since December 14, 2011--and it was the fourth day I initiated this blog.
Well, today I will post some photos.... Someone--I don't know how she got here--left a comment in one of my four posts and encouraged me to be re-committed to my plan about this blog (minimum one photo per day). I should say she was successful in persuading me.

Okay, that's all for the opening after the long absence.... :)

***

Me and my friend decided to go somewhere after working hours today. The fact we heard today in the office made us feeling like we need to escape ourselves. Thanks God, we found a lovely escaping spot. Take a look to what I found there:
Have a sit, please.
I sat here, I love its shadow on this pic.

Right after I found a spot to sit, I was impressed with this. The waiter brought us this. Guess what is this?
It's the menu cover! Isn't it unique and antique and classic?

It's the menu book!
Just open "the door" and you'll enter the menu room.

I love the design interior of this escaping place. There are many wooden tables and chairs--and their shapes are classic. They make you feel like home. And the wall! I've never known that classic wooden window in many colors can make a totally unique and out of box wall. Yes, the wall! Look at the wall as follows.
I have many windows. Colorful windows.
And they are jumbled: horizontally and vertically joined in perfect harmony.

The menu of dinner: Fried Rice! Yummy.
Nice place and yummy food. What else do you expect?

Oh ya.... maybe the price--it should be cheaper. *grinning ;)
Ayam Penyet Fried Rice

Here is another uniqueness I found here. The lamp trapped on a bird cage! They have many, right on the cashier's ceiling and the rests are scattered throughout the ceiling. Well, actually the idea about this kind of lamp is not new. I have ever seen the same kind in other place, but still, this is just cool.
The trapped light.
Would you mind to set it free? ;)
Catch the lights! And send them to the cage!
It was raining when we entered this place. And it was still raining when we got out and went back home. However, this place--a new escaping spot--had successfully wrapped my heart (and my friend's also maybe) with its comfort and cozy atmosphere.

Let me end this post with the wise words my friend tagged me on Facebook tonight (she tagged me after we got home, of course): Satu-satunya tempat yang tidak pernah digunakan manusia untuk mengeluh adalah rahim Ibu.
